Youth Advocacy Program
Uplifting the voices of the future
Our Youth Program is committed to justice and equity for humanity and the environment. We strive for a social, economic and political transition to a world in which all people may thrive through a changing nation and climate. We see humanity as part of a global, interconnected ecosystem. Within that ecosystem, we commit to transforming the institutions that perpetuate unjust exploitation.
Our goal is to cultivate youth leadership and advocacy skills, build relationships with like-minded activists island- wide, and work together on community-centered policy action.
Mission: We provide training, leadership development, and campaign support to 14-28 year olds organizing in their communities on issues of climate, environmental, and social justice. This takes the form of activities including but not limited to: in-person trainings, peer to peer coaching, campaign support, and organizing virtual events locally.
Together we can build an inclusive future that connects climate change to equity, job opportunities, education, sustainability and resilience specific to each community and Oʻahu as a whole.
